YKI preparation
My self-study courses, Steps towards YKI: Writing and Steps towards YKI: Speaking, are available on demand – study at your own pace whenever works best for you, with tried and tested materials.
I am not organizing the interactive parts of the courses at the moment, and feedback for you work is not included in the course price at the moment. Because of this, the self-study versions of the course are available for a special price until the end of November 2025.

Our book YKIä kohti is designed to help you prepare for all four parts of the YKI test. Audio and solutions for listening and reading are included in the price of the book.

My courses at Aalto Open University
October to December 2025: Finnish for Work
- An online course to help you speak and write Finnish at work. This course is centered around working in small groups, with lots of support and feedback from me at every step.
- Live Zoom sessions on Mondays, 18:30-20:00 (5 meeting altogether)
- Level: B1 and above
- Price: 60 €

October to December 2025: Finnish 2
- An face to face course on campus in Otaniemi
- This is a fast-paced course with live meetings on campus and a lot of independent learning between classes.
- Classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 16:30-18:00
- Level: A1
- Textbook: Oma suomi 1, new edition, chapters 6-9.
- Price: 60 €
